Location
While dropping off my sons to go see their Aunt, we were walking around a small private airport lobby and wow, an actual Concord engine sitting on a stand. I was luck to have my camera with me and was able to get some great shots. After spend 20 min. shooting my kids were board and want to go see the plane. Dropped them off with my brother-in-law, said goodbye, watched them take off and right back to shooting! Two hours later I was done!Time
It was early morning so the light coming in from the large windows was great!Lighting
Just a normal day, clear sky's and large windows to let all that light in. During the whole time I was there the light shifted and blinds closed, so it was a every changing situation.Equipment
I had my Nikon D7000 and as luck had it my Nikon 200mm micro lens. I did have a tripod in the car and that helped when the blinds closed a little.Inspiration
I love detail and this motor had a ton! small screws, pipes, fins and many others. I don't know if I would have gone back if I did not have my camera with me! So lucky is the name of the game!Editing
Nope, just a straight up original photo. In my camera bag
That's a good question! I have an every changing list of equipment and bags. My phone is now the winner and my first grab for real photography is my ThinkTank Turnstyle 5 with my D750 and the best lens, the Nikon 14-24mm, heavy but the best.Feedback
Just look for anything and everything when you are out!
