Love the caption and your photo. So much drama in this shot! Even the trees in the background seem forlorn....

Location
I took this photo on a country road in southwest Illinois. I was on my way to an event to take photos and got lost. While trying to find my way to the event I happened upon this building. My camera grew legs started hopping up and down, so I grabbed my camera we went to work.Time
It was about 2pm when I took this photo. The light was not harsh because it was a cloudy day.Lighting
It was a cloudy day when I took this photo. The clouds where not to thick so they were like a natural diffuser.Equipment
Canon 5d Mark III w/EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens. No tripod.Inspiration
I enjoy taking photos of buildings that have reached their expiration date. They have a lifetime of character with many stories to tell. As you can see this building formed a partnership with nature.Editing
Yes. I did some work with Photoshop. In my camera bag
I am a lite carrier. Camera, 2 telephoto lenses, 1 macro lens, lens cleaning kit, tripod and 2 filters, 1 polarizer, 1 skylight, 1 flash and one diffuser.Feedback
Most of my really good photos I happen upon by accident, but I always look at the world with photographers eyes. Take allot of photos of your subject and choose the best ones to work with. Delete the junk.
