Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on Ship Island off the coast of Gulfport, Mississippi in the Gulf of Mexico. Such a beautiful place.

Time

This was around 1pm. As I was walking around Ship Island I was captivated by this scene and had to photograph it.

Lighting

This is all natural lighting. When I took this photo the natural light was perfect.

Equipment

This photo was taken on a Canon 5d mark III.

Inspiration

Being on an island in the Gulf of Mexico supercharged the photographer in me. I took photos of everything on the island.

Editing

No post processing

In my camera bag

I usually carry my camera, spare batteries, a flash and a standard and a telephoto lens, Lens cleaner and a microfiber cloth.

Feedback

Look at everything with a photographer's eye. Take lots of photos. Remember the rules of photography and take lots of photos. Use proper technics and take lots of photos.
