Location

Center street in downtown Calgary, Alberta Canada

Time

It was late in the evening around 10pm in the month of January.

Lighting

All the light was ambiant.

Equipment

Panisonic Lumix DMC-FZ30 on a tripod. I don't remember the F-stop but the shutter speed was 8 sec. I opened the shutter for 4 sec. before the train approached making the train look transparent.

Inspiration

I love night photography and I had seen a similar kind of photo in a photo magazine.

Editing

The only thing I adjusted was a boost in vibrance.

In my camera bag

At the time of this photo I had very little equipment. A shutter release, tripod and my camera. Today is a little different. This photo was taken with my first digital camera. Before this I was still shooting film.

Feedback

I opened the shutter for 4 sec. before the train approached making the train look transparent. Get a good tripod.
