Location
I am trying to get to several waterfalls which are located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada which is known as the City of Waterfalls and this one is Albion Falls which you can still get to the base of.Time
I got there about 11am then after a bit of a hike I would say it was around 130pm I got to the base of the fallsLighting
It was a clear sunny day and I just loved the way I had some of the waterfalls in the shadows and part of it not. I have only been taking pictures for a couple years and I'm only starting to understand the whole lighting aspect of photography. Settings were F5.6, ISO 200 with 1/500 exposureEquipment
This was taken with a Canon T2i with a 18-55mm glass, the setting was at 18mm for this shot.Inspiration
I had been at this location on a hike previous and I found this location peaceful and had to go back when I had time to just walk in the falls and sit and listen to the water and the area was clear of people so I took a few shotsEditing
While I do have Lightroom I do not do any processing on my photos, for me I like the look of exactly how I saw it.In my camera bag
What normally is in my bag is a Canon T2i, Canon T3, 18-55mm and 55-250mm glass, Meike macro extension tubes, polarizing and uv filter, and extra batteries.Feedback
If you had a wide angle for this type of picture would probably work best since I used my setting at 18mm to be able to get the whole shot in. I would also try in different lighting depending on what look you are going for.
