Sunset had just happened and the glow was screaming to be captured.Equipment

I had already planned to be underneath the pier below to capture waves and sunset. Unfortunately the parking area closes at sunset and I was sent packing. Undeterred I thought I'd drive up the hill and see what I might find. Instead of shooting sunset behind me, this view presented itself perfectly. A one shot deal.Editing
Slightly raised vibrance but nothing else, contrast, light etc. were already spot on.In my camera bag
Canon t3i, 28mm Yashica, 50mm Zeiss, 85mm Zeiss, 135mm Zeiss. Extra batteries and some filters though rarely use them, plus extra memory cards.Feedback
Take a deep breath, absorb the scene, frame the shot in your mind to minimise post production, done.
