Say hello to Arsenura armida, commonly known as the giant silk moth, or the larval state of which at least. Within Parque Nacional Carara in Costa Rica we passed by two or three trees with massive clusters of these six-inch-long larvae ringed with black & yellow to ward off would be predators, quite a sight!
