Visitors to Costa Rica's magnificent La Selva Biological Station get to cross Stone Bridge, named after Dr. Donald Stone, executive director of Organization for Tropical Studies (OTS) from 1976-1996. The famous canopy bridge enters the reserve itself; crossing over the SarapiquÃ River on a bouncy suspended bridge is a very wild experience as every footstep is absorbed and the wires undulate with energy! Upon exiting the bridge we ran into a group of peccaries while toucans flew overhead!
