Inspiration

Reddish egrets are rarely seen in southern California so it is a treat to see them. This one was fishing when I managed to snag this shot.

Editing

This was shot in raw, so I did basic post processing and cropping.

In my camera bag

When I go out bird watching, I generally take 2 camera bodies, a canon 7D and 5D Mark III. I put the Canon 400 DO on the 7D and a 100-400L on the 5D III
