Very beautiful shot! I live in Oklahoma and trees here don't put out this type of color. Thank you for sharing!

Location
Central Missouri. At a local lake we use for fishing.Time
This was early in the afternoon. Not the best time of day to take photos. But we WERE fishing!Lighting
Natural light.Equipment
I used my Canon rebel XSI 55/250 zoom lensInspiration
I fell in love with the reflection in the calm water. And the almost perfect tree line.Editing
Oh yes I did some post processing. Always first thing is noise removal. Maybe some levels if needed. I painted on the tree colors. Using the paint brush and changing its blend modes for example to HUE. Sometimes color. And adjusting the opacity and size of the brush just painted them.In my camera bag
I have star filters. My telephoto lens. A macro lens. Portrait lens. Extra battery packs and chargers. Lens cleaners. Business cards and blank notebook. Some twine for impromptu things to be hung in a shoot. And small bottle of bubbles and a small toy for a distraction little children when shooting them.Feedback
Try to get the shot on a day that is not very windy.
