I captured this little dandy about 6:30 in the evening.

Lighting

All Natural lighting.

Equipment

I was just beginning to get interested in photographer with this capture. My first camera and I still use it off and on was/is a CANON S3 IS. My old work horse camera. I hand held up the dandelion in my left hand toward the sky. No flash or other lighting used.

Inspiration

I was just trying to capture some of the tiny details in the dandelion.

Editing

For PP I just did a noise removal, increased saturation a bit and a high pass to sharpen it a little.

In my camera bag

Well in my bag NOW I have star filters. My telephoto lens. A macro lens. Portrait lens. Extra battery packs and chargers. Lens cleaners. Business cards and blank notebook. Some twine for impromptu things to be hung in a shoot. And small bottle of bubbles and a small toy for a distraction little children when shooting them. But when I shot this photo I only had the little S3 and a small bag for it. No other equipment then.

Don't worry about if your work does not come out like you had it in your mind. Just keep shooting and trying. Don't give up!
