In the desert, we don't need snow to catch something refreshing on the tongue! This was a day of fun and refreshment, as we escaped the heat of 108 degrees and found a splash park. This was a fun capture as just minutes before, she was still unsure about even getting her head wet. Before we went home, she was chasing sprinkles of water all over the park! :-)

This photo makes me smile! You have captured innocence perfectly! And the water droplets are so animated and clearly pronounced in that moment, they create a feeling that simply embraces childhood fun!

Location
This photo was taken at a splash pad water park in Fountain Hills, Arizona (imagine a water park in the middle of the desert!Time
Mid-afternoon. Bright, sunny and Arizona hot day! (I think it may have been at least 108degrees that day).Lighting
Yes! It was purely sun light. I know it goes against the rules that photos don't shoot well at high sun. But, this was certainly an exception.Equipment
It was such a spur-of-the-moment thing... I whipped out my iPhone and snapped the shot.Inspiration
Just a few minutes before taking this shot, the little girl (actually, my granddaughter) was scared to death of any of the water sprinklers in the park. She wouldn't go near them, let alone get her hair wet. We wandered in the heat a bit, letting the cool water touch our feet. Well, not 15 minutes later.. a "water baby" was born and I couldn't get her out of it! She loved it!Editing
None.In my camera bag
Cell phone, iPad, Nikon 5300 with kit lens. Oh.. and a cleaning cloth for the lens of my Nikon.Feedback
Use your heart and mind's eye to capture the *feeling* of a moment. Then, let the camera be the one who captures the *story* in its photos.
