As is the case in many metropolitan cities; art (in its many formats) provides some of the cultural pathways throughout the streets. Chicago is an art mecca in its own right and you will find representation of talent that is locally based as well as internationally rich. You can find murals on building walls, painting within the Art Museum and metal creations such as this piece. Located next to Millenium Park and facing Michigan Ave; I dubbed this edited photo: "Lady Sings the Blues" It is gorgeous up close and intriguing from a distance. A welcome sight to downtown Chicago and notice the darling little gull perched atop the post who had one of the best seats "in the house!"
