Click after click after click and the warming photos kept coming this day. Sasha (our 13 yr old rescue) for whom we will never know "her story!"...has adjusted so beautifully in our home and with our other 7 dogs. When she arrived last year; she was very thin, in tremendous pain and because she is blind and deaf; she was a challenge to get to know. Children are so precious and their innate ability to connect with others will forever amaze me. Sasha simply FELL in LOVE with River, plain and simple. This was the first time they had met and their bond was simply striking. Sasha cannot SEE, she cannot HEAR and yet she could FEEL and TRUST this otherwise stranger (our grandson). I am blessed with the GOOSEBUMPS I felt as I took photo after photo of this once in a lifetime experience.
