Location
This photo was taken while the sun was setting at the crystal springs resort in South Africa.Time
It was late evening and the sun literally set a few minutes after I took this photo.Lighting
It was the most gorgeous sun set I've ever seen and the vibrant golden colours where illuminating the hills.Equipment
I used my Nikon D3100 camera with a 18-55mm lens, positioned on a tripod. No flash or other effects were used.Inspiration
I was just so amazed at how stunning the sunset looked that night i couldn't miss the chance to photograph it! It truly is, till this day, the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen.Editing
I like to keep my photos as natural as possible, but to enhance the images potential I do adjust the lighting and colour intensity on some of my photos to make the key object stand out.In my camera bag
I always have my D3100 camera base and will either have my 18-55mm or 55-300m lens attached depending on what photos I'm looking to capture. Occasionally I will take my monopod or tripod out with me if needed.Feedback
Go to places that are remote and don't have much pollution in the air, this will allow the sky/sun to look clearer and more vibrant. In addition I found South Africa perfect for late night photos including the moon or sun.
