In the local language, this step known by "Malambuik", which the rice should be slammed to the "Tongkang". The process to get the rice grains, and then dried before going onto a grinding machine.
This simply and traditional process is still used by rice farmers in Solok Batung, Sigando village, Western District of Padang Panjang, West Sumatra Province, Indonesia.
