Mandeh Yusniati (65 years old), a farmer in a small village which called by Solok Batuang, photographed when she was doing "Ma-angin" using a traditional equipment "Niru". It was only use of the wind blow, Niru must be lifted up as high as the head or more, she stand up and Niru should be tilted and the rice is poured slowly fall down in plastic mats. When the grains of rice falling down, another fragments such as leaves, trashes, grasses, thatches or bit of stalks will separated and drift away automatically. Important to knows, this traditional way would be going well when the wind blows strongly enough. So far she was just got pretty good kind of harvest in the end of her hard work since growing season 4 months ago.

Converse juxtaposed on labor so opposite from the symbol is a unique capture, plus the photo is just a poignant reminder of the land and humankind. Great, great shot and for all the thoughts it evokes. Thanks so much for the lesson , as well. You have passion in your lens ;->)
