A fantastic achievement, planned and executed to perfection. A creative work of genius. The lighting is masterful. Your time and effort paid off. Very well done.

Such a beautiful journey she is starting. Nice documentary with pictures. I’m sure they will enjoy them forever.

Behind The Lens
Location
It was taken in my then Manchester UK studio.Time
The time of day is irrelevant, but it was made up from a montage of monthly sessions taken in 1997.Lighting
The lighting was from two Broncolor striplights, one above the model and one to her side. The whole sequence was planned using 5x4 inch Polaroids and shot on 5 x 4 inch film. Apart from this sequence we shot many other images at every visit.Equipment
Sinar F 300mm lens on camera stand. Broncolor lighting.Inspiration
My subject was a professional model who announced her pregnancy to me at a "go see". This prompted me to ask her if she was interested.Editing
The scanned images were assembled, and balanced in PhotoshopIn my camera bag
These days, my digital kit is a professional Nikon DSLR with a 17-50mm f2.8, a 28-120mm f3.5-5.6 and a 80-200mm f 2.8. Most of my (25 year old) Broncolor studio lighting has been replaced with far more modest Bowens Gemini and Esprit flash.Feedback
Be sure to explain the dedication needed to your model, and be meticulous about reproducing the lighting and composition at every session.
