Behind The Lens

Location
Above Davos, Switzerland.
Time
2:20pm
Lighting
All natural Winter sun, with all it's lens flare it has to offer!
Equipment
Canon 7D, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L
Inspiration
I wanted to capture the bright light and reflecting snow of a sunny Winter day in the Swiss alps. We were walking down into the valley and enjoying the incredible view.
Editing
Conversion to black and white in Lightroom, contrast, tonality, and a little bit of vignetting.
In my camera bag
Depends on what I am doing on that day. It's usually my Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L, Canon 50mm f/1.4, and Canon 17-40mm f/4L. My favorite lens (Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L) is a tad on the heavy side, and sometimes it has to stay at home. There's also an assortment of spare batteries and memory cards, a spare UV / Polarizer filter, an ND filter I never use, some lens tissues, a pocket knife and a mag lite.
Feedback
Don't be afraid of lens flare, make it part of your photo if you cannot eliminate it.
