Spring in the Everglades of Florida brings out the many different species of birds to show off their colors. This beautiful Brown Pelican donned his yellow hat with white tuffs off the back to take a stroll down the pier. At first, I thought it was a statue but soon realized it was posing for me! After I had taken several shots, the pelican plopped into the water and swam away. I added texture to this one to give it a more “portrait” look and for fun.
