This Bat is now awake. Bats sleep with their eyes closed. He stabilized himself alone in this side of the cave. He was flapping his wings, calling the receptive females closer but he was trying to chase the males and maintain his territory, a difficult task. The Bats made a lot of noise as the mating frenzy continued. The only distraction from the mating ritual is the need for nourishment.
