In Monfort sanctuary you can see them a lot. You really appreciate their characteristics. As their population growing more, they really help the fruit trees around the vicinity. They are the natural pollinator. We need not GMO to give to our fruits in this case.

We had bats in a 1948 homesteaders cabin that was to be sold for $1.00, however the bat guano is considered an environmental bio-hazard and it had to be cleaned up before the building could be sold. It is good fertilizer, in Alaska it or other organic waste could not be used on crops that were to be used for human consumption.

Naturallife, I cannot understand why they consider guano as bio-hazard. According to the "free-speech" channel the one that killing our soil are the fertilizers made by lots of the companies. It make our soil acidic, and then scientists nowadays looking the natural way of growing our crops. As we notice organic gardening is becoming well known and to consider the guano is making the garden soil very robust.

Gracie, when they were already in the cave, they behave as human behave themselves. They just hang themselves and quite asleep. There are fences around the sanctuary because they don't want people going so close. Just imagine I used my 400mm to take this photo. I was not afraid too because they don't hurt people. It is a characteristics of wild lives if not threatened then they don't attack. Attacking people is just their defense mechanism. So, whenever you can encounter wildlife just stay cool and just don't make ways showing to them that you are about to attack them.

Such astonishing beauty!and great capture indeed!don't they fly away when you get near to them?I'm glad to know that killing them is prohibited by the law..Really,human are also predators of the fruit bats.To disseminate information to the public especially the farmers the importance how the fruit bats help create more fruit by dispensing the seeds, when they fly around they will spit them out all over the place..

The sanctuary actually is fenced but you can watch them in just 10 meters. That was why I had a hard time photographing them. Hahaha as you said, we are the top of the food chain. Some people don't know how wild animals help us the same they don't know how nature help us. The preservation of the wild animals are really of essential, first for the next generation to enjoy them too and as part of the food chain they are helping us a lot. No more GMO or no more fertilizers if they are just around.
