This is the Crichton Royal Church. The Crichton Royal was once a world famous Psychiatric Hospital. This hospital was famous for it's treatments. It has over it's years treated a great many patients over its years. At it's hay day it had as many as 1500 residents in this facility. The two acre site had in it's hay day approximately 27 houses, buildings, or wards.
This former Hospital is now closed and is now.
The University of the South West of Scotland, and office buildings for various companies.
