Behind The Lens

Location

They call it a "Silver Casacde" for its look and how cold the water is. This is situated near Kodaikanal which is one of the beautiful hill station in India. It was a very casual click and I never thought it'll come so nice and I had this as my wall paper for a very long time. I visit this place atleast 2 years once and this was the only capture that looked amazing.

Time

This was taken in broad day light around 10 or 11 AM. That was the time we were crossing this Silver Cascade.

Lighting

It was an awesome sunny day.. It was taken in pure natural lighting and no extra ligher was required.

Equipment

It was a simple Point n Shoot digital camera from Nikon.

Inspiration

I love rain and I always have the inspiration on clicking photo of water flow in any form, it always gives me that chill feel when ever I look at water. Recently went to another water falls in Kerala which is a famous shooting spot.

Editing

No, No post processing was done to this image.

In my camera bag

As this was just a normal digital camera, I always used to carry extra set of batteries and also minimum 2 memory cards.

Feedback

When ever I see a water body, I always try to capture it from its surface. I always like to capture it that way.. Falls, from the foot to the top, it'll always look Amazing when you see how it touches ground...
