Pretty sure this is a 'standard' Texas Map Turtle. I caught it as it slowly made it to the surface of our pond. I happened to be in the right spot at the right time (a key is to have your camera with you as often as possible) and it didn't really notice me as it was only about six feet away. Manage to turn and get a decent snap in before it went back under.
