Impressive wave dissapating stucture...would this be called a 'rockery' or breakwater?

The guys that designed and built it call it stone abatement but I think your breakwater sounds right. Under these boulders there is rubble wrapped in heavy landscaping fabric. The water runs back into the lake through this leaving the soil underneath undamaged.

Fantastic, it is so nice to have the issue resolved! Now you can focus on the wonderful hummingbird, floral garden to develop....what a beautiful place you will have!!! It will be awesome!

Thank you so much! I hope I can get thing to grow. The soil is so poor and I need to bring in a lot. It is hard to find good black dirt in this area.

How far is the water from these boulders?

There is about 40 ft of Beach between the wall and the water. We had medium high waves this past weekend which really cleaned up the beach but didn’t really reach the wall.
