This was an image that I captured over the course of five nights after having completely disassembled my Takahashi astrograph, cleaning the lenses, reassembling, and collimating the scope myself after it had taken on some rainwater.
Using a full frame cooled astronomy camera I captured 5 minute exposures using narrow band filters that isolate incoming light to 7 nanometer bands around a particular wavelength associated with some ionized gas.
Sii - Sulphur (Deeper Gold Tones)
Ha - Hydrogen Alpha (Gold Tones)
Oiii - Oxygen (Blue Tones)
