One of the most striking bloomers in April is the lupine. Lupinus belongs to the family of leguminous plants.
The scented legumes Lupinus are in heavy, cylindrical bunches that can grow up to 50 cm long. Sometimes the flowers are two-tone, the flag (top part) has a different color than the keel (bottom part). The flowers open from late April to July, often it is still flowering early autumn.
