When the rains come and the pond is full (even a little bit), it brings all manner of wildlife to it for it's life giving essence.

This is one of many deer that come around the pond on the regular. As we're the only property in the are that doesn't have people shooting at them during deer season, they tend to congregate here from September to February in larger than usual numbers.

I caught this doe as part of a group of four, however I thought a single individual closer up made a better visual with the sun highlighting them from behind.
