Minimalist Abstract Macro photography. The original macro photograph was taken of a daisy hidden within the shadows from overhanging trees as it jutted out shyly from the edge of a grave at a local cemetery. New Life hidden in the shadow of the dead. on return to my studio I decided to manipulate the colour and and angle just with a few touches to enhance the body of the flower and contrast of its shadow creating a smoky ethereal feeling as i noted that I had managed to capture a wisp of pollen in the air as id bounced the flower with my fingers.
