.....i could not help it ...so sue me ....i broke out my heavy duty 6 inch mini tripod and my landscape camera ...set the aperture to f16 ....it was a long hike and a photograph was needed for the effort
...I pack that mini tripod with me everywhere ...I do not trust myself with the typical 6 foot tripods because I have watched too many folks absentmindedly knock them over with their camera and lenses attached. My mini tripods head is a mere 6 inches off the ground so if i do hit it ....it does not have far to fall ...minimizing any possible damage.
