South Texas had a beautiful spring in 2023 with more wildflowers than usual. I was lucky to catch a few deer grazing in the flowers in our yard. Here, a yearling white-tail buck with emerging antlers, grazes on flowers and grass. He still has his winter coat. Things changed as the summer progressed to heat and drought. Good memories of a lovely spring.

Lovely sight, this deer in the middle of the flower field. Wonderful details!

Thank you. Joop. This deer was grazing in our yard. He is one of our regular visitors who was born last year, and grew up getting to know us. I am not sure where we got all those pretty wildflowers this spring.
