I love whitetailed deer and your images of them are wonderful. I have a number of photos on Viewbug of mothers and fawns that I photographed in my backyard. They are sooo beautiful. Kurt

Hi Kurt. Thank you. Our area offers so many opportunities to photograph the deer because they have learned to coexist rather closely with people. Your deer photos are lovely. You capture them very well.

Thank you, Joop. In this neighborhood, a few miles from ours, the deer seem to grow up with very little fear of humans. We ride our bikes on the street, a few feet from deer, and they just patiently stand and watch as we go by.

Thanks, Michel. Yes, we have the same issue at our house. The garage door is the dinner bell. Sometimes they are waiting on us. P.S. the ongoing drought means they really struggle for food, and sometimes water.

Thank you, Ron. The big bucks should be participating in the rut soon. I will need to visit that neighborhood more often, as the rutting season progresses.
