This is among my most favorite images. It was taken at one of the many Finger Lakes Region vineyards situated along scenic Cayuga Lake in Central New York State during the fall season when all the leaves were turning to their fall colors, including the grape vine leaves in the picture.

I captured this colorful image in the finger lakes region of central New York State, at a winery vineyard in the fall, when the grapes were ready to harvest and the grape vine leaves were turning bright redTime
I was early afternoon.Lighting
The sun was behind me, vailed in clouds, giving bright but diffused lighting that was perfect to illuminate this beautiful and colorful scene.Equipment
I used my Nikon D50 with my Nikon 18-200 lens zoomed out to 75 mm, 160th second shutter speed at F9.Inspiration
The natural beauty of this vineyard caught my attention as we were driving through the finger lakes area. We stopped to view the vineyard more closely and saw this magnificent vine with it's luscious grapes contrasted with the bright red fall leaves.Editing
Very little post processing was necessary, other than cropping and minor adjustments. In my camera bag
I have several different focal length lenses and some filters and extra batteries and data cards in my camera bag .Feedback
The finger lakes region during the fall offers many great photo oops and would be an excellent place to capture a similar subject and other wonderful fall scenery.
