.......these are tiny tiny birds not much bigger than your finger ....there were only 350 left in the wild in 1987 and thru conservation their numbers are now 15000-plus ......they are only found in a few areas ...they split their homes between the west coast of southern Mexico in the winter and a narrow corridor that stretches from Texas and a portion of Oklahoma in summer.
