....Wings Open ... this butterfly is actually the white or Alba Form of a female Orange Sulphur butterfly
.....Wings Closed is the male with its solid black border on the wings ......you can just make out an Orange Streak or Splash which is where it gets its name and is visible on the top wing
....they both are fringed with pink borders which is amazing to see!
.....The Orange Sulphur was once known as the Alfalfa butterfly because it would feast on alfalfa crops
.....These days clover and vetches satisfy the appetites of the larvae and serve as host plants
... these 2 were chasing each other around and seemingly fighting over flowers such as the one seen here
