I took this photo in my studio in Salzburg. It's one of the biggest studios far and wide and I rent it out all the time.Time
As is usually the case with me, the photo was taken in the evening. Since I still have a full-time job, I can only go to the studio after 6pm for such shoots. But that doesn't matter. That way we almost always have an open end and no stress.Lighting
The light is a bit more challenging this time. She sits relatively far in front of the background, which is illuminated by two striplights from the left and right. Directly above her is a large octabox that shines vertically downwards. The white table reflects a lot of the light and brightens the shadows under the chin etc.Equipment
I used a Canon Eos R6 with an 85mm f1.2 L lens for this photo. the flashes were all from Bowens I mounted the cam on a Foba stand, as I almost always do, with absolutely no shaking.Inspiration
The photo was actually only taken because I am currently studying for a master's degree in photography and new digital media. Actually, it was a task within this studyEditing
In post-processing, I did a classic beauty retouch, of course, and then reduced the colours relatively strongly. In my camera bag
Most timer i use a Canon EOS R5 and a EOS R 6 My Lenses are RF 16-35 2,8 L; RF 34-70 2,8 L; RF 70-200 2,8 L; RF 85 1,2 L As Light most time i use two Profoto B10 or in the Studio Flashes from BowensFeedback
If someone wants to do something like that with animals, I can only advise them to get a dog. We had endless attempts until the picture was in the box because the cat just wouldn't sit. :-D
