Candid Portrait Photography in Black and White. A stolen moment on top of a mountain in Wales during a proposal surprise for my daughter. This image taken if two of my daughter's friends just after the proposal had taken place is proof that the overwhelming feeling of romance in the air causes all those whom are in love to feel their own emotions for the one they love a little more intensely and the need to display that feeling becomes important too. The couple are in Viking costume , and part of a reenactment group , and all those taking part in the surprise engagement were also dressed in costume to help in the story that we were only there to take part in a photo shoot for me. This sincere moment if embrace took part after all if the excitement and congratulations were over and the couple finally stood with each other for the first time after seeing their friends become engaged. They looked so beautiful and so in love that I felt I had to capture the moment and share it with them , so they would also have a lasting reminder if the evening and of how in love they are. Taken with my Nikon D3500 and Nikkor 70-300 lens from a high POV in colour then altered in post processing to a natural greyscale black and white.
