Behind The Lens

Location

The picture was taken at night in Singapore I believe viewing from the Helix Bridge.

Time

It was nighttime we had watched the Spectra Light and Water show before that and were checking out the city by night.

Lighting

Since the bridge itself and the whole Bay Area is quite illuminated at night, there was good lighting to take the picture.

Equipment

I only used my camera with my standard lense and it’s UV filter, no extra equipment, no tripod.

Inspiration

The view was just amazing and I wanted to capture a piece of the gorgeous architecture of the ArtScience Museum as well as the amazing panorama.

Editing

I did the usual editing and tried to make the contrast between night and the museum as well as the lights of the city.

In my camera bag

I now have three lenses (standard, wide angle and traveler zoom), battery charger, several SD cards, a grey filter, two UV filters, a cleaning cloth and my SD card reader sometimes.

Feedback

Choose a night with no clouds and get inspired by the incredible cityscape. Try to look out for nice bright contrasts to the dark night sky.
