Location
This picture was taken during a zodiac ride in Isfjord Spitsbergen. I was lying on my back in the front of zodiac and photographed the surge created behind the zodiac.Time
It was taken in the morningLighting
it was a clear and sunny day that made the coulor even clearer in the artic landscapeEquipment
Picture was shot with Canon 7D Mark II and Canon EF 100-400/4,5-5,6L IS II USM lens, no other equipment was usedInspiration
I was shooting ice and birds with low angle on the clear blue water and saw this opportunity when we spotted a walrus and picked up speed with zodiac to move closer to the ice with walrus on it.Editing
It came pretty much as i wanted it from camera only added a little contrast when converting to jpeg in lightroom. In my camera bag
I usually have two cameras with me one with my favorite lens canon Canon EF 100-400/4,5-5,6 L IS II USM and one with Canon EF 24-105/4,0 L IS II USM in that way i come prepared for motives that are close or far away. I also have extra memory cards, batteries and a light wight tripod.Feedback
For this shot you need the right surroundings(arctic sea) a low angle(zodiac) and also a bit of luck with weather(calm sea and sunny).
