Behind The Lens

Location

I tool this picture in Hanover, Germay near the Faustgelände. It was really not a special location at all. This could have been taken anywhere.

Time

It was an early afternoon.

Lighting

It's natural light. Not bounced in any way. It's been slightly cloudy.

Equipment

Nikon D7000 and.a 85 mm f1.8

Inspiration

I wanted to tell a story together with this model. We share a friendship that is based on us support each other through some hard times. And I wanted to take her picture as this slightly bruised and hurt girl, who showed me so much of that tenderness she rarely feels free to express.

Editing

Just color editing.

In my camera bag

Nikon D7000 and a 50mm lens.
