This Picture was taken in my home studio. The background is made of Vinyl plus an old paintingTime
Afternnon - but it was taken in my studio...Lighting
I used 2 flashes: 1 to control the shades and 1 as the leading light. On the "shadow" flash I used a 135cm octa and the leading light was with a 70cm white beauty dish with a front diffusor. the Camera settings were Av 5, Tv 1/160, ISO 100Equipment
Canon EOS 5DsR, Sigma 50/1.4, 1 Elinchrom Style 300 (70cm white beauty dish with additional diffusor) and 1 Elinchrom Quadra 400 (135cm Octa)Inspiration
After taking a few "normal" shots I try to catch a picture that is unusual. So, the model's face is covered or she is part of the bokeh or she is small. this time Lada and I tried to emphasize the picture's title "my world" with her hands covering her face - it gives a nice, strange touch together with the faded Color and the painting next to her.Editing
I added some contrast in post, and made the vignette a bit more visible - that was allIn my camera bag
In my bag there is usually my camera, 2 zooms (16-35/4 & 70-200/2.8) and the following fixed lenses: 24/1.4, 35/1.4, 50/1.4, 85/1.2. My bag is pretty heavyFeedback
Every shooting try to expand your portfolio with a few unusual shots. After a hour or so I try a few shots and break rules like "rule of thirds", "the models face has to be sharp" etc. Even if the shots are not as expected we have lots of fun shooting these
