Behind The Lens

Location

I stumbled upon this tree in a spooky wood which is hidden in the small country town of heathfield. I went to school in heathfield but only recently discovered this word. I was lucky with the misty weather which I think gives the tree a mystical look.

Time

It may not look like it but this was the middle of the day! It was a particularly gloomy autumn day & we decided to go for a dog walk. I love the lighting on this picture it really brings out the autumn colours.

Equipment

This was shot with my trusty iphone 5 no fancy equipment!

Inspiration

I'm always looking for opportunities to take great photos. I am lucky that I live in such a beautiful area of the world & just going out for a simple walk in the woods can create photos like this one.

Editing

The only editing I did was to slightly enhance the colour of the leaves. I'm personally not a fan of altering an image too much from the original.

In my camera bag

I like to keep things simple & have my iPhone with some lens you can attach, that's it!

Feedback

I think the key is take pictures of the things you love it will really show in the picture & make it come alive.
