Location
I took this photo in the back yard of my Parents' house. My Mother was always very proud of her garden, and had many beds of all kinds of plants, from grasses and flowers to trees. At the time - they have since moved - they lived right on the old border of North York and Toronto.Time
It was mid-afternoon but, more importantly, the photo was taken right after a rain-storm.Lighting
The picture was taken right after the rain, so, nothing was used but the light provided by the clearing clouds.Equipment
Just my pocket camera. No post-edits either, other than possibly cropping it down.Inspiration
I often see short stories, or story segments, in every-day things. If I'm lucky, I have my camera with me to capture it. If I'm really lucky, I can later recapture that mindset and recognize the photo for what it was at the time it was taken.Editing
No! The only post-edits I'll ever do is to possibly crop the photo in order to better exhibit the subject. In my camera bag
Just my pocket camera (I don't have a cell-phone of any kind), and only if I'm lucky enough to have it with me. I really need to work on that.Feedback
If something catches your attention, take a pic if you can, even if you have to figure out its reality later on. Also, and more importantly, always be open to what may be, not necessarily what is.
