I took this Photo in H.C. Andersens Eventyrshaven (Adventure garden) in Odense in Denmark. It was a Winter wedding The 12th December 2015. And it was freezing Cold. I had given the bride the Council, having long ski panties on underneath her weddingdress and a big and warm winter jacket next to her. So she could warm herselve between the shoots. I was surprised at how many people went to walk in the Park in the Winter season. And it also called for a little wait sometimes Until people found out that they were right in the middle of the camera angle. Another challenge this day: Was that I had gotten pneumonia. But my principle is: that one does not cancel a wedding photography!!! Unless you're contagious or is about to die. But with some pain relieving And the world's loveliest Assistant, for my husband! It all went as it should.Time
We took the pictures after the wedding ceremony. It was in the afternoon, but in the golden hour.Lighting
We had a reflector screen pointing up in the faces of the bridal, To light them up a little more in their faces.Equipment
I used a Canon 6D with Tamron lens 24 -70mm F/2.8 DI VCInspiration
I have seen many other beautiful wedding photos on the Web. Where the photographers have used Bridal Veil to something funny or creative in the picture and that was also something, I wanted to try. There were two other helpers on the day. And the bride's friend was a huge help in this context. She sacrificed herself and climbed on on the other side of the bridge. With the dangers of falling into the Water. (There was fortunately not so far Down, But she was dressed in evening Wear) Her task was to throw the veil up into the air so it looked beautifully. She had to do it several times. But she was real toughEditing
Yes, I have given the image a warmer glow and blurred the background even more.In my camera bag
I always have my canon 6 D and some different Tamron lenses. And ALWAYS my reflector screen .Feedback
You will need to have a helper or two with you!!
