I took this atmospheric image in a large wetland in Vejle. There is an incredibly beautiful nature here. And I'm almost addicted to get out into the wild and photographing people. It is my huge passion and My dream job!! What a combination, right?Time
Sussi tells: We planned the shoot to the afternoon (And I always check the weather forecast up to the photo shoot) It looked to be a beautiful day. And I wanted to utilize/ exploit the golden hour. And my heart jumped for joy, When I saw that it would be a success. This was actually a family session. But I asked the father, If I could take a portrait of him alone? And he said: Off cause. I think it provides an ease, breezy feeling - that there is only one person on the Picture. And his whole style, with the clothes and the sixpence fits perfect with the surroundings!Lighting
We caught the light from the golden hour and the sunset. And I had an Assistant to help me with the reflector screen. There was not much Space on the footbridge. If you stepped Next to, you would fall down into the Water.Equipment
I used my beloved Canon 6 D with a Tamron lens 24-70mm and my reflector screen.Inspiration
I did not have this picture in mind, when I meet with the Family. (Because it was a Family session) But a good photographer/ artist seize the day. (Carpe diem) and you have the potential to make beautiful Things. So: USE THE POTENTIAL!Editing

Look at the weather forecast. Take advantage of the good days. In Denmark, we have four seasons. As probably everyone is aware of. But it is, of course, not all countries, - which have spring, summer, autumn and Winter. This portrait was taken in the end of November. (autumn) And it's only because of a mild autumn that this image could be done. (In November in Denmark) It's usually really Cold and windy... ?
