This was taken when I was in London, on a business tripTime
I always smile when I see this it was about 4pm on a sunny afternoon, i was crouched on the pavement about as low as i could get, almost lying down, as you can imagine the streets of London were begining to get quite busy and people were actually stepping over me, I even heard someone shout is he alright. That was when I decided to get up.Lighting
The weather was actually very plesant a nice sunny afternoon with some nice fluffy clouds in the skyEquipment
I was using my Nikon D7100 with a sigma 10-20 wide angle attached camera was hand held with my elbows on the pavement for support, embarrising but who cares I got the shotInspiration
At the time the Shard was the tallest building in western europe and I wanted to highlight that by getting the whole building in the shot and as close as possibleEditing
The RAW conversion was done with Nikon View a freebie from Nikon, all other processing was done using photoshop elements, basic cropping, adjustments and black and white conversion. In my camera bag
It depends on where I am going and what i am doing for a trip like this, it was my nikon plus my Nikkor 18-140 zoom a sigma 10- 20 wide angle and a polarizing filter plus cleaning clothesFeedback
Yes definately think about your shot and use what support there is available even it means getting down low with elbows on a crowded pavement and remember never mind the remarks or the embarrasment, you've got the shot they haven't. For all the Newbies and rising stars you are part of the viewbug community if you see something you like and want to know "how was that done" don't be frightened to ask
