Location
The photo was taken outside of my home when I was in the swimming poolTime
I do not know the exact time of day this photo was taken yet my guess would be early morning or later afternoon as that is the outdoor times that I spent in my pool, excluding 11 am through about 3 pm as Florida sun is too hot and bright and before or after brightest part of the day, an outdoor photo will turn out better.Lighting
The lighting was all natural in the outdoor sun.Equipment
I used a point and shoot camera, my hand and fist as an outdoor tripod. The wasp was on my pool ladder and not moving away as I focused my hand on the other side of the ladder, carefully.Inspiration
I was inspired to take the photo as the wasp liked where it was on the outdoor ladder, not moving and I was able to get my hands with camera steady. Mainly, I love macro shooting. I love seeing things up close for my own curiosity as so many years working so much, I now capture things that I never had time to see before being soooo busy. I love how macro allows us to view many things in God's beauty of creation. Sooooo much to see...Editing
If any post processing was done, it would have been an auto adjust but as close to natural as possible. Possibly a slight bit of clarity added for defining details a bit sharper. Over all, I try to stay as natural as possible. Slight dust and clean at times.. I think that's the right saying...In my camera bag
I normally carry two batteries charged, a eyeglass cloth to clean the lense. That is about all I carry using a wrist strap. At time I use a zip lock leak proof bag in event of rain.Feedback
Be careful capturing upclose with nature for obvious reasons. Respect any and all wildlife and do not startle nor harm any wildlife just to get a shot. I do not agree with tactics like that. Keep your work as close to natural as possible is my opinion to see the realness. Enjoy what you are doing or don't do it. lol I like what I do, even if it takes me many many shots to capture a decent shot!!
