Location
This Image was taken on the walk to Browns Falls near Killarney QLD. Browns Falls is the lowest of three falls with Queen Mary Falls the highest and the most popular but for my money Browns Falls is the best as you walk along the banks of the creek crossing over many times with a series of the cascades along the way it is very cool under the canopy of trees making it a enjoyable and pleasant walk to the 10 mtr falls, along the way there is many things to photograph you can spend hours here.Time
As this was my first time here and i did not know what to expect i left a bit later than i normally would in case i got into trouble and being the weekend i knew there would be plenty of people around. It was around 9am when i started to walk to the falls.Lighting
the sun was starting to get high in the sky but the canopy filtered the light so it was reasonably soft with brighter sections along the walk.Equipment
Canon 600D, 18-55mm kit lens Canon, Tripod.Inspiration
The purpose of this trip was to practice taking images of waterfalls and running water as i had never done it before so a lot of images were taken with different settings with a lot going into the binEditing
i did but can not remember exactly what was done as i was trying many different things in post as well .In my camera bag
At the time that this image was taken i had my 600D and he 2 kit lenses 18-55 & 55-250 along with a cheap Tripod and some cleaning gearFeedback
Just get out there and have a crack at it, try different angles and heights you will be surprised with what you capture.
