Location
I took this photo at home, the fruit is called achiote, it gives color to food and many years ago it was used to dye and paint peopleTime
In the morning, I placed a black background and I took the picture. I tried at least 10 moving around the camera and the fruit looking for the best lightLighting
The lighting was natural the one that passes through a windowEquipment
I used a Canon Eos, and the lens was macro 50 mm by canon, I used tripod and no flashInspiration
I like macro photography, and looking inside the fruits, flowers and some vegetables we find a lot of surprises, that we can capture due to photographyEditing
Yes indeed, I took the picture in raw, I fixed it in camera raw, I prefer camera raw rather than lightroom, and I kept my file in dng, after I opened the file in photoshop and I duplicated the image, I enlarged the background so I can place the other picture and it was rotated horizontally, after I took a lot of care so that both were placed very close one to another, after I cleaned the back ground painting in black and at last I used clarify to focus the image at the end.In my camera bag
i use 2 cameras: canon eos Rebel T5i, and another canon converted to infrared. Lenses? an wide angle for the infrared, and when I am traveling I use a lens 18-200. When I am at home I enjoy a macro 50mm, sometimes I use tripod but not always.Feedback
Choose a fruit, vegetable of flower excellent, no damages and they must look "alive", then wait for the light, it passes in seconds, I prefer natural light but sometimes flashes are necessary. Photography is my life, I play taking pictures and enjoy the post-proccesing, be by yourself, you don´t need people close to you, so be yourself in your images. Remember that a picture is taken in one minute and last forever.
